Home | Why M-GEN? | How Do We Work? | Who Are We?

The M-GEN Future Planning Center develops flexible study programs on the subjects of future planning and shaping for the individuals like you, who were born and are living in the millennium, and are affected by the unique conditions of this era.

At the center, we organize planning sessions in the following formats:
o One-on-one meetings (minimum 2 hours at the beginning)
o Up to 6-person groups (minimum 1 day)
o Workshops (for larger groups, and devised according to the needs of the participants)
o Seminars and conferences (with the participation of local and foreign experts)

For the full-day participants, we present Ufuk Tarhan's book titled "Pre-University M-GEN The Future In Your Imagination".

As a result of these sessions, participants end up having made or clarified their "personal future plans" at several levels.

The approach used in our studies has been developed by Dr. Verne Wheelwright, who has been researching on these subjects for years. Dr. Wheelwright's personal future planning approach, widely accepted in many countries, especially in the US and in England, is introduced to the Turkish society for the first time and only by the M-GEN Future Planning Center.

At our center, we help you create the main body of your personal information, develop optional future scenarios, and set your vision and action plans for the future by using these scenarios. Naturally, it is your responsibility to live as you plan!

At the M-GEN Future Planning Center, we together look for answers to many questions that preoccupy your mind. In one-on-one meetings or workshops, we discuss the following issues:

  • How can I enter the school I want?
  • If I cannot succeed in entering the school I want, what do I do?
  • What kind of a life will I have?
  • How can I be happy?
  • How can I be successful?
  • Is the education I receive suitable for me?
  • Will I be able to finish the school?
  • Have I chosen the right occupation?
  • Which occupation will be "better" in the future?
  • What should I do to improve myself?
  • Why should I improve myself?
  • Where will I live?
  • What kind of an economic status will I have?
  • How can I notice and capture the opportunities?
  • Am I on the right track?
  • With whom will I share my life?
  • What kind of a life will I have in the future?
  • Will I be happy and content in the future?
  • Will I be successful?
  • How will my family relations be? How can I improve these relations?
  • Where do I make mistakes?
  • Will I and am I supposed to pay for my mistakes?
  • What kind of a place will the world and my country be?
  • What awaits us after 10-20 years?

We know that comments like the following do not concern you, and they even distress you. At the M-GEN Future Planning Center, we never mention such issues:

  • If you do this, you will be successful; if you don't, you won't.
  • The university is everything, you must finish it.
  • I trust you, but I don't trust the ones around.
  • It wasn't like this in our time!
  • Only the young can save the country.
  • This country is not worth living in!
  • Have you heard which school he/she has entered?
  • Do you know what score did he/she make in that contest?
  • The daughter/son of so-and-so is successful not only in school, but also in this or that, and is quite social, too.
  • The real challenge will start after the university.
  • Do you know how much will you earn after you graduate?
  • Everyone has similar problems, do not exaggerate!
  • Do whatever you like!
  • Parents are always the same; never mind!
  • These are simple things; take it easy; they will be gone when you grow up!
  • Unemployment and competition increase everyday. Let's see what you will do.
  • The young are corrupted. Are they the ones who will save the future?
